Learn a word with all the possible ways.

When you are learning a new word, learn it in a way that you can easily form a sentence using that word. Question yourself like -Is there any synonym for this word? What is the opposite of that word? Everything all at once. Then, you can frame the sentences as a chain. As a result, you can also remember the word for a long time. 

Example:  Inimitable means something that can not be matched. 

If you want to describe, something that cannot be matched or beyond imitation or beyond ordinary, then this word is the right one to use.

Synonyms of Inimitable: incomparable, matchless, unique. 

Generally, we use synonyms according to the context of the sentence. In the same way, we can use inimitable or matchless, or unique according to the situation.

Antonyms for Inimitable: ordinary, mediocre. Mediocre means having no peculiar or outstanding features, not great or special.

Sentence formation: I have seen many cricketers but, Tendulkar is inimitable.

This way, we can find out the meaning and can form the sentences of our own meaningfully to remember them easily for a long time.

Keep an eye out for the pronunciation.

We can learn the words, spellings, and sentences also easily but pronunciation is something that holds us back. Various slangs are there in English. But, the authentic English is from Britain. British English differs a lot from American English. But, nowadays everybody is using only American English. Most of the words have a similar pronunciation only a few words have a noticeable difference. 

As a first step, learn the standard pronunciations. Many complex words have the same pronunciation in US and UK slang. So it’s a bit easy to learn the pronunciation of difficult words. Learn a few key phonetic (the study relating to the spoken language or speech sounds) symbols.

Speak to someone regularly to get fluency. Pronunciation is always followed by fluency. As much as you pronounce/speak the word, as much fluent you become in communicating. Also, you can easily understand the difference in your language from the beginning to now. 

Parts of speech will work in many ways:

When you are learning a new word and its meaning, figure out which form it is (noun, verb, adjective, adverb, etc.) By learning its form, you will know in which context the sentence is arranged.

Adjectives are the words that describe how the thing is. Since inimitability is a quality of a person, it is an adjective.

Similarly, listening to audiobooks and songs also helps in learning vocabulary. Online blogs and articles have a simple vocabulary, which helps you in the IELTS writing test. You will learn the punctuations, expressions, and style of writing through blogs and articles. 

Know the Idioms and collocations:

If you’re interested in reading books, it’s again one of the best ways to learn English. You will learn many new idioms, phrasal verbs, new words by reading books. Idioms make your language sound like a native speaker. It is also the best way to learn vocabulary.

Collocation is the combination of two or three words that are commonly used in English. 

For example, to save time, to feel free, set a price, hard-earned money, etc.

Idioms are expressions that contain symbolic meaning, which is different from the phrase’s literal meaning.
